Apply a gentle amount of force and follow along the shoulders, ribcage, and lower neck for maximum efficiency.

When getting or giving a massage, do not forget the hands, which can tense up like any other part of the body. For an effective hand massage, begin by massaging your palms in a circular motion. Use circular motions while you do this to stimulate blood flow. Join your thumb and your index so you can massage your fingers, palms and wrists.
